Scorpion Italus Series UD Filament Wound carbon Wheelset

Filament Wound Rim 3X

The rims are laid up by an adaptive filament winding process, which varies the layup thickness and orientation across the rim. The layup pattern places fibers aligned in a series of increasing angles radiating from the spoke hole up to the tire bed. This technology optimizes the transmission of force from the spoke to the rest of the rim, and provides additional material to create high strength at the spoke area while minimizing unnecessary weight between the spokes. Wide rims with a U-profile provide great handling and reduce drag across multiple wind yaw-angles. Of course, they are also tubeless-ready.

How to use it

Going with  tube - use tire pressure up to 120 psi
Going tubeless - use up to 100 psi with tires 25-28mm / 70psi 30mm/ 50psi 33mm/35-45mm/46mm+ 35psi

Skewers
Brake Pads
Extra Spokes
