A: No. An online Reynolds number calculator with velocity = 12 m/s (43.2 kph) width of 24 mm, and kinematic viscosity of 1.5111E-5 m2/s at 20 Celsius. The Reynolds number is ~ 2*10^4; which at @15:54, means that wheels aren't even in the range when turbulent boundary layers matter for reducing drag coefficient. If you recalculated at 72 kph, (45mph) you only get 3*10^4. So there is no realistic speed regime this would matter.
- Conclusion, If you can ride at 45 mph for one hour you may save 3 seconds.

Filament Wound Video - How its made
Auto Filament Winding Technology developed in Germany has changed the way of carbon rim production.
Different than producing the rims by hand, Filament Winding is done by Robot, which is Pre-Coding program. This ensures precise control and quality from every rim produced, reducing rejects, thus reducing production cost and guaranty outstanding quality.
The rim is then "baked" then cooled then baked again. Finally it goes thru a X-ray machine for inspection.
Our Attack rim series uses a three cross pattern over the nipple hole for strength and stiffness. A patented 270TGi HTG resin developed in house is applied in the Auto Filament Winding process
